Our company has recently introduced a range of welded, sleeved, and bolted corundum wear-resistant ceramic blocks to tackle the challenges of wear, high-temperature environments, and the detachment of corundum wear-resistant ceramic patches. These blocks are designed for use in critical equipment parts such as pipelines, elbows, and burners within industries like thermal power, metallurgy, and cement. This technology has successfully solved the problem that has long plagued industry maintenance engineers and technicians, and has been recognized by many domestic thermal power plants.
High hardness
Tested by domestic institutions, the material boasts a Rockwell hardness of HRA80-90, ranking just below diamond. This significantly surpasses the hardness of wear-resistant steel and stainless steel.
Outstanding Wear Resistance
As verified by the Powder Metallurgy Research Institute of Central South University of Technology, the wear resistance of this material is remarkable, outlasting common materials by a substantial margin. It is approximately 266 times more wear-resistant than manganese steel and 171.5 times more resistant than high chromium cast iron. Customer feedback over the past decade confirms that under similar operating conditions, equipment life is extended by at least ten times.
Lightweight Advantage
With a density of 3.8g/cm³, this material is only half as heavy as steel, significantly reducing the overall load of the equipment.
Superior Bonding and Heat Resistance
The ceramic sheet is securely bonded to the equipment’s inner surface using a high-temperature-resistant adhesive, ensuring durability and stability even in heat environments. The glue can be used stably for a long time at 350°C and is not easy to age. The inorganic adhesive used for bonding can also maintain performance at a high temperature of 750°C. Its temperature resistance and bonding strength are far ahead in the domestic industry. Dongfang Hitachi Boiler Co., Ltd. has designated this glue as a special adhesive for wear-resistant ceramics in its burner.
